Film icon Burt Reynolds has been defining his own legacy since his silver screen debut in the early '60s. He's overcome his fair share of challenges and celebrated even more successes, but Reynolds has always lived life according to his own set of rules. Reynolds was born in Lansing, Michigan, in 1936. The son of a military man, he moved around to several different places with his family before they finally settled down in Riviera Beach, Florida, when he was 10 years old.
